Licenses
Dog tags and proof of rabies vaccinations are required for all dogs six months and older. Tags are issued annually and may be obtained at the Fauquier County Treasurer's office.

Animal Control 
Dogs are required to be kept on leashes or confined to owner's properties. For stray animals, call the local Animal Warden at (540) 347-3300.

The Fauquier County SPCA accepts unwanted pets and offers cats and dogs for adoption.
