The Town of Warrenton will be mailing out its 2009 Personal Property Tax bills in the next two weeks. The Town Council maintained the rate on motor vehicles to $1.00 per $100 of assessed value for the 2009 tax year. The council also maintained a reduced  tax on handicapped, mobile homes, motor homes, campers, and boats to zero this tax year.

 

Under Governor Gilmore's Personal Property tax relief act, the Town of Warrenton will be reimbursed a fixed amount based on the tax rate that was in effect in 1997.
